Collection: Citrine Bracelet
A citrine bracelet from jeravales is a single strand of warm yellow beads with one carved citrine pixiu at the front, strung on elastic cord with no metal parts. Six stones appear in the 8mm and 10mm strands, five in the 12mm — ranging from pale gold to deep amber. Three bead sizes, three prices: 8mm at $99, 10mm at $129, 12mm at $149.
What is in this bracelet
Citrine is the anchor — a clear warm yellow, the colour of the last hour of afternoon. Golden rutilated quartz holds fine golden needles inside clear stone, so light finds its way through rather than bouncing off. Yellow quartzite is a soft, even gold with no flash at all. Yellow hematoid quartz carries amber clouds that drift slowly. Yellow agate is warmer and more opaque, closer to honey. Golden tiger’s eye moves as you turn it, a band of gold sliding across the bead. Yellow hematoid quartz is in the 8mm and 10mm only; the 12mm strand leaves it out.
In the five-element system, citrine belongs to Earth. It is the stone this bracelet is built around; the other five are chosen to keep it warm rather than bright.
Which bead size to choose
8mm is the smallest, and the most common choice for a wrist 6.1–6.5 inches around. The strand holds 20 round beads and one pixiu. It sits close to the skin and does not move much when you type.
10mm is the middle size, for a wrist 6.5–6.9 inches. 17 round beads and one pixiu. This is the size most people land on when they are unsure — heavy enough to feel present, light enough to forget.
12mm is the largest, for a wrist 6.9–7.7 inches. 16 round beads and one pixiu. The beads are wide enough to read as separate stones from across a room.
Wearing and care
The cord is elastic. Roll the bracelet on over your hand instead of stretching it wide — stretching is what wears elastic out. Take it off before swimming in chlorinated water or before handling household cleaning products. To clean, wipe with a dry soft cloth; these stones do not need water.
Store it flat or in a pouch, away from harder stones. Quartz will scratch softer material if they knock together in a drawer.
Questions we get
Is the pixiu metal? No. It is carved from the same stone family as the bracelet. There are no metal parts anywhere in it — no clasp, no spacer, no cap.
Will it fit? Measure your wrist with a strip of paper, then add half an inch. 8mm fits 6.1–6.5 inches, 10mm fits 6.5–6.9, 12mm fits 6.9–7.7. If you are between two sizes, take the larger.
How long does shipping take? Orders leave within 1–3 business days. Delivery is 13–20 business days. Shipping is free in the United States.
Can it be resized? The elastic can be restrung by a jeweler if it ever needs it. We do not offer resizing.
The other four stones
This is one of five. The others: black obsidian for Water, clear quartz for Metal, green strawberry quartz for Wood, citrine for Earth. Not sure which one is yours? Answer seven questions and find out.
